MYSTERIOUS CONNECTIONS BETWEEN UNFORGOTTABLE SONGS AND MOON NODES
When I wrote my Sinastri book named “Aşk Ve İlişkiler Astrolojisi” (Love and Relationships Astrology) , published in Agust 2013, I discussed in details about the Moon Nodes telling of our spiritual path.
And I suggested a new finding on the South Node there.
According to my finding, the South Node is the one which refers to “our spiritual/karmic life goal” in this incarnation.
On the other hand, the North Node refers to the “stage where we perform that goal” or “the way we carry out that goal,” stated by the South Node.
I mean, we take our spiritual/karmic goal and talent from the South Node and then we begin a journey through the North Node.
That karmic/spiritual goal and talent is just like our suitcase that we put the necessary things in and carry with us along the journey…
While making an intensive study of the subject to get statistical data on this finding, I used the horoscope charts of famous music stars worldwide.
And of course, I found out various interesting connections between unforgottable songs by famous singers which made them great stars around the world and the South/North Nodes in their charts.
As I said, on our spiritual path, the South Node tells about “our spiritual/karmic life goal (and also karmic talent, karmic job)” and the North Node tells about the way we perform that goal/talent.
Well, let’s check some of them out together.
UNFORGOTTABLE SONGS AND MOON NODES
1-Elvis Presley – His unforgottable song “It’s now or never!”
Elvis’ South Node is in Leo. He was born to be a star!
His South Node is in Leo and in the 8th house! It almost reflects the words in this song, doesn’t, it?
The 8th house is the natural house of Scorpio. Scorpio’s motto is “all or nothing” and Elvis says in his song “It’s now or never!”
The call for love and sex in the song is also the subject matter of the 8th house.
What about the sign which we see the South Node in? Leo?
Leo is the sign of passion and love. The flame of passion in the song is special to Leo.
In the song, the words “Be mine tonight”… These words remind of his North Node in Aquarius in the 2nd house.
The 2nd house is the natural house of Taurus who loves possession!
And the words “Tomorrow will be too late” represent Aquarius.
May be, this freedom lover man leaves his darling tomorrow..!
2- Frank Sinatra –His Unforgottable Song “Strangers in the Night”
Let’s follow the tracks of the song through his Moon Nodes in his horoscope chart.
Can we find any connections between his spiritual life goal and his unforgottable song which made him reach the top..?
Let’s see together.
Frank Sinatra has the same Moon Nodes as Elvis, his South Node in Leo and North Node in Aquarius.
Two stranger lovers are told about in his song. Or two people who just met for the first time…
We see the reflection of both Moon Nodes in it.
Leo represents love and passion. Aquarius is about people from different places, strangers.
His North Node in the 4th house complete the stage for the lovers. Why? Because the 4th house is the house of home or country and we see two strangers get together to set up home.
His South Node in the 10th house represents people who want to get together by a formal marriage.
Shortly, they want to marry and share a life together from now on.
And ever since that night they’ve been together…
The Moon Nodes on the 4th and 10th house also represent an important love relationship that changes people’s whole life in general.
You see?
Two love songs, the same Moon Nodes’signs and two different goals and stages…
The song by Presley highlights passion and sexual desire, the song by Sinatra talks about romantism and marriage.
3-Barbra Streisand – Her Unforgottable song “Woman in Love”
Barbra Streisand has dreamy voice. Think Why?
When we look at her horoscope chart, we see her Venus in the 12th house and in Pisces! While the Sun and Mercury in Taurus give her strong voice, the Venus in Pisces in the 12th house gives her dreamy soft voice.
Let’s look into her song to get clues about her spiritual life goal.
The South Node is in Pisces, conjunction with Venus in the 12th house. This reminds me of the words in her song, “I’m a woman in love and I’d do anything to get you into my world.”
In this song we see a woman who can do everything and is ready for giving everything for her love. Very romantic woman!
Let’s see the other signs of the song in the horoscope.
Meanwhile, that the South Node conjunts Venus in the 12th house proves my finding about the Sout Node mentioned above.
4-Michael Jackson – Unforgottable songs “Bad,” “Billie Jean” and so on
I’m confused… Which song is his best and unforgottable song..? I can’t choose one but at least two or three.
MJ has South Node in Aries in the 7th house and North Node in Libra in the 1st house.
You see? He has a rising sign in Libra and the North Node in Libra, too. He was crazy for aesthetic operations!
Well, we can find the tracks of his songs following through his Moon Nodes.
The South Node in Aries, Aries’ ruler in Taurus and in the 8th house. Mars in the 8th house..
The 8th house is the house of sex and Mars is the planet of sex. This immediately reminds me of his typical gesture. You understand what I mean. Grasping his sexual organ on the stage. These kind of sexual dance figures are very natural because he has a Mars in the 8th house.
The 8th house is also the house of hidden destructive desires like killing and fighting.
We often see the reflection of those feelings in his songs, e.g., “Bad,” “Dangerous,” “Smooth Criminal” and “Beat it.”
Because the ruler of the South Node in Aries is Mars, he became worldwide star telling about things representing Mars.
Now let’s look into the houses of the Moon Nodes.
The 1st and the 7th houses. The houses of relationships and confrontations and love and hates, and open debates and so on. We can see many examples ot these themes in his songs.
MJ often has something to tell someone, a wish, a sorrow, an outbreak, etc.
When we turn back to the 8th house and Mars, which also represents our hidden fears, we remember his song “Thriller” tells about fears.
We don’t only see Mars effect in this song but also Uranus and Venus conjunction in Leo.
In the movie “Thriller,” MJ acts as ‘a man enjoying strange things like scaring his lover.’
In this song, we notice the reflection of Venus, the ruler of his North Node and its conjunction with strange planet Uranus.
And the song “Billie Jean”! The greatest of all perhaps.
“Billie Jean… Not my lover.. She says I’m the one but the kid is not my son.. She showed a photo.. His eyes were like mine…”
Venus, the North Node’s ruler and its conjunction with Uranus in Leo and Mars, the South Node’s ruler, in the 8th house and square with Venus and Uranus…
All of those astrological signs reflect the story in the song about two people meeting a dance floor and one night stand and a baby born after that.
One more thing, MJ often talks about fight and peace in his songs. The South Node in Aries represents fight and the North Node in Libra peace.
5-Sezen Aksu – Unforgottable song “Beni Unutma” (Do not forget me)
A music star from Turkey.. Sezen Aksu.
I don’t know the exact birth time but I know her rising sign is Leo. Her horoscope chart is something like that.
The South Node is in Cancer, the North Node is in Capricorn.
The South Node in Cancer means she was born to sing melancholic songs. Deep love, nostalgia, etc.
In her unforgottable song, she tells about a woman having a deep attachment for her lover and saying “do not forget me” even after the relationship finished.
For both the North Node in Capricorn and the South Node in Cancer, what is important is ‘memories, past, remembering and being tied to the past.’
The most important thing is not to be forgotten and to be remembered for a Cancer woman. A Cancer wants to be unforgotten.
Another famous song by her “Don’t cry” is a typical song representing the effect of the South Node in Cancer.
6-Teoman – Unforgottable song “Paramparça” (All in Pieces)
I don’t know his exact birth time, too but I know his rising sign. His horoscope chart is something like that.
His South Node is in Libra and North Node in Aries.
While following the tracks of his song through the Moon Nodes, I notice interesting astrological signs.
We aslo see Saturn in Aries beside the North Node in the 4th house.
Teoman’s father died early when he was a child.
The 4th house is the house of home, roots and father.
Just like in his real life, he talks about painful memories of a man losing his father in his unforgottable song which made Teoman a music star.
Let’s look into the South Node. What can it tell us?
Both the South Node and its ruler Venus are in Libra and Venus opposses Saturn.
In his song we hear the story of a man running away form love and having unmeaningful relationships and being unhappy.
He is afraid of love. Because Saturn gives him the fear of “taking root.”
Teoman tells about his real life story in his song!
I think Saturn gives the idea “there is no meaning to take root because one day something happens and take down the root…”
The song starts with these words, “I don’t have a watch, so I can’t exactly know when…”
Those words are just the words of a man who is not on good terms with Saturn, the Lord of Time.
What about these words in the song, “I’m just like a suitcase being lost…”?
Again we see the reflection of Saturn. He almost defines himself as rootless.
And these words, “All the lives of people I know are all in pieces…”
Venus and the South Node in Libra, Saturn and the North Node in Aries all give the clues of the story of lives all in pieces in the song.
